Transform Your Smile With Dental Veneers

At Nederland Family Dental, our dentists believe that everyone deserves to have a beautiful smile that helps them feel self-assured. Your smile says a lot about you, and it’s one of the first features people notice when they meet you.

If you have concerns about your smile, you may not feel as confident as you could when interacting with other people. This might keep you from smiling your best smile, and it could cause other people to perceive you as unfriendly or unapproachable.

The good news is that we have excellent options for enhancing your smile, and porcelain veneers in Nederland can help you achieve the beautiful smile you want and deserve to have.

What Are Porcelain Veneers?

  • Gaps between teeth
  • Discolored or stained teeth
  • Chipped or broken teeth
  • Teeth with size or shape discrepancies
  • Small misalignment issues

The Dental Veneer Process

Completing porcelain veneers is a relatively straightforward process. Once you’ve worked closely with our dentists to design a smile that’s ideal for you, it’ll take two appointments to complete your veneers.

During your first visit, your dentist prepares your teeth for your veneers. This requires removing a slight bit of tooth enamel to ensure your porcelain veneers have a seamless fit. Then your dentist will create temporary veneers that you will wear while a world-class dental laboratory makes your new restorations. This typically takes around two to three weeks.

Wearing temporary veneers allow you to get used to their look and feel. Then you can suggest any needed adjustments to your dentist again when they place your final restorations.

When your final veneers are ready, you’ll return to Nederland Family Dental to have them permanently placed by your dentist. Your dentist will make any needed adjustments to ensure your bite functions properly during this time.
