Dr. Whitney Gomez is the owner of Nederland Family Dental. Dr. Gomez was born and raised in Nederland, Texas. He graduated from Nederland High School in 2002 and continued his education at Lamar University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Gomez graduated from The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Dental School in 2009.Dr. Gomez earned the Award for Excellence in Clinical Dentistry for being one of the top clinicians in his graduating class.

Dr. Alyssa Noyola, DDS
Dr. Alyssa Noyola was born and raised in Plano, Texas. After high school, she moved to San Antonio where she attended the University of Texas at San Antonio and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Noyola always had a passion for helping others and after going on a mission trip to Honduras with her dental society, she decided to pursue her passion to become a dentist. She completed her education at University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Dental School and graduated in 2019.

Dr. Chase Gordon, DDS
Born and raised in Groves, Texas, Dr. Chase Gordon has a deep-rooted connection to the community he proudly serves. After completing his Bachelor of Science degree at Lamar University, Dr. Gordon went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry. Since beginning his practice, he has quickly established himself as a skilled and dedicated dentist, bringing a thoughtful and patient-centered approach to every treatment.

Logan Crooks
Director of Growth and Operations
A Nederland native and a graduate of Lamar University, Logan began her career working in finance and human resources for large businesses. She realized that she wanted to be in a position where she was part of a caring team that makes a real difference to the community, so she joined the Nederland Family Dental Team. As Director of Growth and Operations, Logan keeps the practice running smoothly while helping us connect even more of the community with great dental care. Logan loves the culture and vision of Dr. Gomez and the rest of the Nederland Family Dental.
Logan married her best friend and wonderful husband in 2019 and started a family. As a mother to two young children, "spare time" is a bit hard to find but in a few years, she'd love to spend more time traveling and exploring the world with her family.
Sierra Meade, RDH
Dental Hygienist
A graduate from Lamar Institute of Technology, Sierra has been with the practice since 2017. Sierra has resided in Nederland throughout her life and loves her small home town. She chose dental hygiene because she loves making patients feel good about their smile and being able to educate them on how to take the best care of their overall oral health. Sierra loves the bond she makes with all of her patients and how the team at the office is like family.
Outside of work Sierra loves spending time with her family. She has a beautiful baby girl and a handsome little boy. Sierra has a mini zoo with all of her fur babies and wouldn’t change a thing.
Brenda Do, RDH
Dental Hygienist
A Louisiana native who graduated from Lamar Institute of Technology, Brenda chose to start her career here in Southeast Texas. She joined Nederland Family Dental in 2021 and continues to invest her expertise and energy into the team who provides the best dental care for their patients.
She is truly passionate about her profession, always educating her patients on oral heath and confidence. She is thorough and educates them so they can achieve the oral health and confidence that they deserve.
In Brenda’s free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and reading, but ultimately, spending time with family. She continually strives to grow personally and professionally so that she can better serve her community.
Mackenzie Locke, RDH
Dental Hygienist
A proud Nederland native, MacKenzie graduated from Nederland High School in 2015 before earning her Dental Hygiene degree from Lamar Institute of Technology in Beaumont in 2020. She chose a career in dentistry because she believes a smile is one of a person’s greatest qualities, and she is passionate about helping patients feel confident in theirs.
MacKenzie prioritizes patient education, ensuring each person she cares for has the tools and knowledge to maintain excellent oral health at home. She loves the high standard of care at Nederland Family Dental and the meaningful relationships built with patients, making everyone feel right at home. What motivates MacKenzie each day is the positive work environment and the shared commitment of the team to delivering the best patient experience. She finds joy in making patients feel comfortable and empowered in their oral health journey.
Outside of work, MacKenzie cherishes time with her family. She and her husband, Taylor, stay busy with their son, Carson, who plays in Nederland Little League and select baseball.
Taylor Webb, RDA
Registered Dental Assistant
A proud graduate of the Lamar State College Orange Dental Assisting Program, Taylor has been a valued member of the Nederland Family Dental team since 2024. She enjoys building connections with patients and helping them achieve their smile goals. Taylor loves being part of a team that feels like family and is dedicated to providing exceptional care.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Chase, as well as her friends and family. An outdoor enthusiast, she loves hunting, fishing, and relaxing at the lake. She also adores her dog, who is always by her side.
Dianna Kaiser, RDA
Registered Dental Assistant
A Hamshire resident, Dianna is a Certified Dental Assistant and has been an integral member of the team since 2018. With nearly 25 years as a dental assistant, she loves making long-term relationships with her patients and helping them feel at ease and comfortable. She is passionate about changing our patients smiles' for the better and loves to see how smiles can transform with the different services, techniques and technology available at Nederland Family Dental. Although she loves working with her amazing team here, when she is not working she enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with her husband Chris and her two sons Gage & Mason.
Brandi Felps, RDA
Registered Dental Assistant
A resident of Port Neches, Brandi has been with Nederland Family Dental for nearly 2 years and a RDA for 5 years. What is most rewarding about being in dentistry is helping to educate her patients on dental procedures and helping to create smiles that boost patient's confidence and self-esteem.
When Brandi is not working chair side, she enjoys staying involved with her children's multiple activities and sports, being surrounded by family & friends, shopping and crafting.
Marian Pham, RDA
Registered Dental Assistant
Marian, a Port Arthur resident, has been a part of the Nederland Family Dental family since 2021. A lover of learning, Marian attended Port Neches Groves High School and graduated in 2014 and later attended UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry. With a Texas Dental Assisting License and certification from the Dental Assisting National Board, she loves seeing a patient light up and their self esteem increase after treatment is completed. She also enjoys working alongside the doctors to provide the best care possible for each and every patient. In her spare time, Marian loves to spend time with her family and friends, shopping and traveling.
Kayla West
Hygiene Coordinator
Kayla loves to see patients’ progress through treatment from beginning to end and seeing the smile on her patients’ faces when completed.
Originally from Dayton, TX and a graduate of Kaplan College, Kayla has been with Nederland Family Dental for nine years. When she’s not helping patients, she enjoys events and activities with her husband and two children.

Betty Hebert is more than just a Dental Hygienist; she's a dedicated member of our team, a caring professional, and a friendly face who ensures your dental journey begins with a warm welcome.
Betty, a proud graduate of Lamar Institute of Technology, has been an integral part of Nederland Family Dental since 2006. Born and raised in Nederland, Betty's commitment to our community is unwavering.
As our Scheduling Coordinator, Betty now plays a pivotal role in ensuring that patients have a seamless and pleasant experience at our office. She can be found at the front office, efficiently scheduling appointments and warmly greeting patients with her trademark smile and professionalism.
Outside of the dental office, Betty enjoys a variety of hobbies that reflect her love for nature and family. When she's not busy making people's smiles shine, you can find her casting a line while fishing, engrossed in a good book, or basking in the warmth of a campfire. Her greatest joy, however, comes from spending quality time with her cherished family, which includes her loving husband of over 30 years, two grown children, and three adoring grandchildren.
Carrie Leyendecker
Billing Coordinator
Carrie began working for Nederland Family Dental in 1991 and has a Certificate of Completion in Office Administration, which she received from Lamar University. Thirty years later she continues to remain passionate with helping patients achieve their dental goals.
Carrie is active in her childhood congregation, Trinity Lutheran Church, and enjoys kayaking, sailing and being surrounded by family around a beach campfire.
Christi Gordon, RDH
Front Office Administration & Dental Hygienist
Christi has worked at Nederland Family Dental for twenty-four years and is a graduate of Lamar Institute of Technology. She loves that many of the team members have been with the practice for a long time. Patients also stay with the practice forever and it makes the office a family atmosphere.
The mother of active boys, Christi has no spare time due to baseball, soccer, track, and football, but she dreams of a day when she can read a book or do some gardening.
Heather Strother
Sterilization Technician
Heather joined the Nederland Family early in 2022. She believes that a smile is the prettiest thing anyone will ever wear and loves to help patients smile. Heather loves seeing the personal pride that everyone takes in their job and loves being part of an extended family when she is away from her own.
A Resident of Hamshire, she has been married to her husband for over 13 years and together they have three wonderful children. Heather loves bingo, camping, swimming, and rooting her kids on as they play sports.
