We also accept Care Credit. Care Credit is an outside financing company that you can use to finance any dental procedure. You can apply in our office or online by searching our practice name. Once you receive approval, you can use your account right away. The process only takes a few moments.

We accept all dental insurance plans at Nederland Family Dental. However, we are not under contract with any dental insurance companies. We can help you determine your insurance benefits and file your claims for you. We have a team member who is ready to help you decode your insurance plan so you can avoid financial surprises.

When a dental office contracts with dental insurance companies, they pay only a fraction of each procedure. This means that we would have to cut corners with our patients by doing hasty dentistry or compromising on quality. Our patients do not want us to cut corners because they expect the best when they visit our dental office.

We also believe that every patient deserves great care. That is why we work with you to create a treatment plan that both maximizes your benefits and allows you to have the high-quality dental care you deserve.

We offer outstanding family dentistry, including taking care of your little ones! Dr. Gomez is great with kids and helps them to feel comfortable. At Nederland Family Dental, it is our goal to start off the youngest members of your family with excellent dental habits right from the beginning.

When you bring in your kids at a young age, we can help them get used to the sights and smells of the dental office. We can show them the dental chair and help them understand how to brush their teeth. When they relax, Dr. Gomez can have a look inside their mouths to make sure everything is progressing normally for their age.

When kids get older, we will provide them with cleanings and take diagnostic x-rays to look for problems like cavities.

We also work closely with parents on home care techniques to keep their kids healthy. Home care combined with preventative exams and dental cleanings can help your child avoid some of the most common dental conditions down the road.

An “in-network” dentist has agreed to a contract with a specific insurance company. That insurance company dictates the fees the dentist must accept as payment. They take an inventory of dental fees in the area and come up with a fee schedule based on all types of dentists including clinic and corporate dental offices that work on volume. Many clinic-style dental offices utilize dental assistants to do much of the work performed by the dentist in our office. They may also use lower quality materials and move patients through their care quickly.

An “out-of-network” dentist is NOT under contract with any insurance company. We take pride that our office uses top-of-the-line materials, products, and techniques to give patients the best treatment available without restrictions from any insurance companies. Our dentist believes that your dental care is something that you and your dentist should decide on together. We also take pride in the fact that our fees are extremely reasonable compared to the industry standard.
